The Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, based at Reading Football Club’s home ground, The Madejski Stadium, wanted an eye-catching piece of direct mail creating to showcase their ‘Christmas at the movies’ event.
After collaborating with the client at RBCC, we settled on a clapperboard design to reflect the Hollywood theme. This outer case would house four loose-leaf flyers to each highlight four individual events ; Christmas at the movies private parties, Christmas lunches, sharer parties and non themed private parties. Each flyer was individually themed in cinematic style to chime with the overall design.
In this digital age, traditional direct mail often gets pushed aside in favour of e-shots, but we think there is still a place in the market for interesting designs which are tangible and tactile.
It’s always fun designing marketing collateral to promote the Christmas season whilst in the midst of a heatwave. We are actually hoping for a bit of snow in our studio right now…it is quite sticky!
